Principal Engineer, Agentic AI Applications – Serko (US Remote)
Set the architecture for scalable agentic AI across Serko’s global business travel and expense platform. Build dependable LLM systems, runtimes, and observability infrastructure.
Descriere
- Shape how autonomous AI agents are designed, coordinated, and deployed at scale.
- Set the technical direction and architecture for new agentic AI applications.
- Own agentic system architecture, from multi-agent coordination and memory to reasoning pipelines.
- Build infrastructure for non-deterministic loops, circuit breakers, latency-aware orchestration, and token and cost monitoring.
- Establish engineering patterns, design standards, and development practices for agentic applications.
- Coach and develop senior engineers.
- Review architectures and guide consequential technical decisions.
- Contribute to hiring.
- Work with AI Operations to build, serve, and monitor agentic workloads.
- Partner with Product, Research, and Platform teams to deliver reliable, highly available products.
Cerințe
- 12 or more years of software engineering experience.
- At least 4 years in technical leadership or principal-level positions.
- Hands-on experience delivering LLM-powered or agentic systems to production.
- Experience with LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or custom runtimes.
- A track record designing distributed, highly available systems.
- Expertise in Python and modern backend frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, tool-calling APIs, and multi-step reasoning.
- Ability to turn complex AI concepts into clear technical roadmaps.
- Interest in shaping engineering culture across the organization.
- TypeScript and Node.js experience is a plus.
