Descriere
- Set the technical direction and lead delivery for HackerRank’s assessment platform.
- Give candidates dedicated virtual machines and an online development environment for working on real-world applications.
- Build systems that support up to 100,000 concurrent candidates.
- Work with product teams across HackerRank to integrate assessment solutions into every product.
- Set the assessment platform vision and roadmap in partnership with Product.
- Design systems that handle more than 100,000 concurrent users.
- Own delivery commitments and guide day-to-day work using agile practices.
- Maintain operational excellence across reliability, incident response, security, and privacy.
- Hire, mentor, and develop engineers, including establishing career paths.
- Define how the team uses AI tools in software development.
- Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and Security teams.
Cerințe
- At least 8 years of software development experience, including 3 or more years leading engineering teams.
- Strong experience designing highly available, scalable, fault-tolerant, secure distributed systems and large-scale web services.
- Technical leadership experience and the ability to guide critical architecture discussions.
- A record of hiring, leading, and mentoring technical teams, and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Hands-on proficiency in at least one of Go, Python, Ruby, or Node.js.
- Strong hands-on proficiency with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, changing environments.
- Experience building or scaling cloud IDEs, remote development environments, or online coding platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with containers, Kubernetes, and on-demand virtual machines or sandboxed compute at scale.
- Experience load testing, autoscaling, and planning capacity for variable, event-driven traffic.
- Experience introducing AI-assisted development practices across an engineering team.
