Descriere

  • Build the New York engineering team.
  • Deliver features for YOLO computer vision models and the surrounding platform.
  • Turn model capabilities into usable interfaces, dependable APIs, and production infrastructure.
  • Own feature areas from requirements and architecture through implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration.
  • Deliver machine learning and computer vision capabilities across full-stack interfaces, backend services, and infrastructure.
  • Use Copilot or Codex regularly, checking generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.
  • Break ambiguous projects into milestones and coordinate dependencies across locations.
  • Share decisions and blockers asynchronously.
  • Balance customer needs, technical trade-offs, and commercial deadlines with Product and Engineering.
  • Lead design and code reviews.
  • Help engineers move forward and establish standards for testing, observability, and production reliability.
  • Contribute maintainable code, technical documentation, and shared knowledge to the open-source ecosystem.
  • Coordinate with colleagues in the UK, Spain, and China.

Cerințe

  • Bring senior-to-principal or distinguished-level industry delivery experience.
  • Have sustained ownership of feature areas and accountability at tech lead level.
  • Have shipped machine learning, AI, and computer vision work.
  • Demonstrate practical Python and PyTorch skills beyond coursework or research.
  • Work across full-stack interfaces, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, deployment, and production operations.
  • Have current experience with AI-assisted development.
  • Apply sound judgment in code reviews.
  • Prefer mainstream tools with strong documentation.
  • Communicate effectively asynchronously, break down work, and meet deadlines in structured teams.
  • A degree is not required; industry experience is essential.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the country of application.
  • Desirable experience includes TypeScript, React, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Docker, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, cloud platforms, model serving, GPU optimization, inference monitoring, edge deployment, open-source contributions, and early engineering work across international teams.
