Director of Data Management — Pune, Hybrid | Marsh McLennan
Lead a data domain that supports Marsh’s enterprise data products for risk and business consulting. Govern domain data, encourage adoption, and deliver measurable value across analytics and AI.
Descriere
- Set the strategy, roadmap, and measurable goals for an assigned data domain
- Define the domain’s scope, boundaries, and authoritative business definitions
- Turn business needs into reusable, governed data products
- Work with business sponsors, architects, engineers, and governance teams to deliver domain capabilities
- Help manage the domain backlog, release priorities, and product acceptance criteria
- Ensure the domain supports end-to-end business processes
- Lead tracer testing of real business transactions to check data quality, handoffs, identifiers, and usability
- Promote adoption across operational applications, reporting, analytics, self-service, and AI
- Set quality, governance, privacy, and control requirements throughout the product lifecycle
- Coordinate delivery across global and regional teams, tracking dependencies, milestones, and risks
- Assess domain performance through trust, reuse, adoption, and business value
- Escalate unresolved ownership, quality, capacity, and prioritization issues
Cerințe
- Experience with data products, enterprise data, business data strategy, or product management
- Strong understanding of business process design and translating business needs into data requirements
- Experience delivering data capabilities to production and supporting adoption with business stakeholders
- Working knowledge of data architecture, modeling, metadata, quality, governance, and integration
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across business, technology, operations, and regional teams
