Azure Cloud Engineer II – Gurgaon Hybrid Night Shift
Support Rackspace customers’ Azure workloads through cloud deployments, automation, and troubleshooting. This hybrid Gurgaon role is part of a global team and includes night-shift work.
Descriere
- Provide Microsoft Azure support to customers as part of a global team.
- Help customers improve workloads by supporting application build, deployment, integration, scaling, and recovery with Azure services, third-party tools, and agile automation practices.
- Provision and update cloud environments.
- Carry out upgrades.
- Resolve customers’ routine deployment issues by phone and support tickets.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, relationship managers, and product teams.
- Automate customer PaaS and IaaS deployments on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop Azure environment guidance and deployment approaches.
- Build automation tools and processes that improve daily work for the team.
- Guide customers on Azure and Rackspace practices and architecture.
- Contribute to teammate briefings and technical training.
- Serve as an escalation contact for Support Engineers.
- Deliver consistent customer support throughout the engagement.
Cerințe
- At least five years of experience with Azure and cloud deployments.
- Working knowledge of Azure resources and services, scaling, load balancing, CDNs, networking, and related technologies.
- Experience automating and orchestrating workloads on Azure.
- Experience creating Terraform and/or ARM templates.
- Experience scripting with PowerShell and Bash.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
- Experience using Terraform.
- Experience creating and modifying alerts with KQL.
- Experience with Azure services and APIs.
- Strong Windows skills.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and MySQL databases.
- Working knowledge of backup and recovery methods and implementations.
- Knowledge of supported network appliances and related Azure solutions is preferred.
- Knowledge of Azure federation services is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management and ability to meet deliverables.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Azure 900 and 104 certifications are required.
- Readiness and ability to work in a 24/7 environment across available shifts.
