Join Milliman as an Actuarial Analyst supporting property and casualty insurance consulting work. Contribute to pricing, reserving, modeling, reinsurance, and related projects while progressing toward CAS credentials.

Descriere

  • Independently complete core analyses and contribute to team-based project work
  • Deliver accurate, high-quality analytical outputs
  • Use Excel to transform, analyze, and summarize complex data
  • Apply programming, statistical, and database techniques to client engagements
  • Communicate findings, conclusions, and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Partner with colleagues across locations and, when assignments require, with Milliman offices worldwide
  • Progress toward Casualty Actuarial Society credentials through actuarial exams
  • Support engagements spanning insurance, reinsurance, insurance-linked securities, and alternative-risk markets for a varied client base

Cerințe

  • At least two actuarial exams completed when applying, with continued progress toward a Casualty Actuarial Society Associate credential
  • Up to two years of full-time actuarial experience in areas such as pricing, reserving, predictive or capital modeling, enterprise risk management, or reinsurance
  • A completed bachelor's degree or higher, or a degree in progress for completion by 2027, with quantitative coursework in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Experience with statistical or modeling tools including R, @Risk, VBA, Python, SAS, or STATA
  • Strong critical-thinking, technical, and analytical capabilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively while coordinating competing needs across concurrent client projects
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced setting and providing additional effort when client needs require it
  • Ability and willingness to express questions and ideas clearly
  • Evidence of leadership and innovative problem-solving
  • Genuine intellectual interest in risk, Milliman, and the practice's work
  • Commitment to producing accurate, professional work with integrity
  • Self-directed approach with strong time-management skills, including coordination across time zones
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship
  • Preferred qualifications include three or more passed CAS-track exams and working knowledge of Access and PowerPoint
  • Preferred: three or more passed actuarial exams on the CAS credentialing track
