Accounts Payable Administrator (Hybrid) at Purple
Manage bill processing, reconciliations, payment runs, and vendor records for Purple in a hybrid role. Guide A/P clerks and help maintain accurate financial close records.

- Enter bills in Stampli and verify ledger coding, approval routing, and required details.
- Follow up with managers to secure bill coding and approvals.
- Match purchase order bills with purchase orders and product receipts.
- Prepare weekly payment runs for management approval and generate bank upload files.
- Address vendor questions and resolve payment issues.
- Keep vendor records accurate and up to date.
- Calculate and apply credits and discounts, including those for non-conforming materials.
- Keep department and bill-type approver lists current.
- Reconcile A/P aging with the general ledger trial balance during monthly close.
- Review and reconcile the Goods Received Not Yet Billed report.
- Coordinate, train, coach, and oversee other A/P clerks.
Reikalavimai
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
- Two to three years of accounts payable experience.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and software.
- An accounting or business management degree concentration is preferred.
- Experience using Stampli or comparable accounts payable automation software.
- Experience training or coaching colleagues.
- Availability to work about 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Ability to remain in one position, standing or sitting, for extended periods.
- Ability to move objects weighing up to 15 pounds in any direction.
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with others.
- Ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movements.
- Ability to evaluate assigned work for accuracy, neatness, and completeness.
