Maintenance Engineering Manager
Lead maintenance engineering, reliability, and modernization for Auren Energia’s renewable generation assets. Oversee engineering teams, operational performance, costs, and technical compliance.

- Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team and uphold technical and safety standards.
- Set procedures and technical guidance for safe, efficient asset operations.
- Assess generation assets and confirm needs for modernization and technology upgrades.
- Track equipment performance indicators and develop recovery plans when operations fall outside normal conditions.
- Advance digital maintenance through enhanced monitoring and data analysis tools.
- Oversee projects and technical specifications for equipment and material procurement.
- Direct inspection, assembly, commissioning, acceptance, and maintenance of equipment at operating assets.
- Manage maintenance budgets and costs to improve resource use and efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with applicable energy-sector technical, regulatory, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, and Automation and Modernization Engineering to align priorities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or another relevant engineering discipline.
- Substantial, demonstrated experience maintaining power generation assets; renewable energy experience is preferred.
- Prior experience in the electric power sector is essential.
- Demonstrated experience with low-, medium-, and high-voltage Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP) systems.
- Knowledge of team leadership, maintenance planning, and performance indicator analysis.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and methods such as Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
- Experience handling matters involving regulators, ONS, electric utilities, and distribution companies.
- Ability to represent the company with regulators and strategic stakeholders in technical and institutional settings.
- Knowledge of dynamic power-system performance simulation and ANATEM/PSCAD mathematical models.
- Ability to brief senior leaders on project status and recommend strategic responses to technical and management challenges.
- Advanced or fluent English is an advantage.
- Analytical communication, leadership, and sound decision-making in complex situations.
