  • Own HoopStars’ business plan, budget, revenue, profitability, and cash-flow forecasts
  • Direct sales and operations to ensure programmes, coaches, venues, and service quality meet demand
  • Strengthen paid search, paid social, creative, landing pages, enrollment funnels, pricing, offers, referrals, and retention
  • Design the parent marketing team and hire the required specialists
  • Engage contractors or agencies when appropriate
  • Set priorities and manage performance across the company’s brands
  • Link campaign results to paying customers, repeat enrollment, and contribution profit
  • Direct marketing investment through dependable reporting and structured testing
  • Review advertising accounts, identify funnel issues, and support the rollout of improvements
  • Develop a team capable of delivering consistently
  • Split time roughly evenly between operating HoopStars and building and leading Community Sports Partners’ cross-brand marketing team
  • Deliver concise weekly reports and join monthly business reviews with the founder
  • During the first 90 days, learn the customers, operations, and economics; audit marketing; establish reporting; recommend team structure and hiring priorities; run growth experiments; and assume routine HoopStars business decisions

  • Proven results in paid acquisition, conversion optimization, and customer retention
  • Commercial ownership extending beyond marketing spend, including pricing, margins, staffing, forecasting, or business profitability
  • Experience recruiting and leading marketers, creatives, agencies, or other specialists
  • Ability to adapt ecommerce practices to a service business with operational capacity and customer commitments
  • Willingness to work hands-on while building people, processes, and systems
  • Strong professional English and effective experience leading remotely
  • Background in youth sports, education, fitness, memberships, or multi-location services is helpful
  • A record of building a profitable business and a capable team is the strongest qualification
  • Availability for full-time work
  • Completion of the Culture Index survey
  • Completion of the Criteria GAME assessment in English
