  • Oversee compliance risk management, advisory support, and effective challenge for Retail Distribution
  • Coordinate engagement between supported business lines and other Compliance functions
  • Provide primary Compliance support and independent challenge for regulated activities and business initiatives
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on applicable regulatory laws, rules, and guidance
  • Monitor business activity through issue management, compliance monitoring, and testing
  • Participate in Compliance forums, committees, and recurring business meetings
  • Assess and challenge regulatory risks and mitigations for material changes and new initiatives
  • Define launch conditions and present initiatives to executives for approval
  • Track compliance issues through resolution within required timeframes
  • Lead regulatory change management for new and amended state laws
  • Analyze complaints, business reports, and key risk indicators to identify emerging trends and risks
  • Review and validate first-line testing results
  • Support control mapping between regulatory obligations and effective business controls
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen the compliance framework and reduce risk exposure
  • Advise business partners on new or revised regulatory and policy requirements
  • Develop and implement Compliance programs
  • Create summaries, presentations, briefing notes, and other compliance reports
  • Represent Compliance on internal and external committees
  • Perform functional and enterprise-level analysis and recommend actions
  • Oversee high-risk initiatives and escalations
  • Facilitate Compliance risk assessments and self-assessment activities
  • Track assessment completion and communications
  • Conduct internal and external research and support management presentations
  • Build and maintain relationships across business lines and control functions
  • Monitor emerging issues, trends, and changing regulatory requirements
  • Mentor colleagues and support team development

Талаптар

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • At least seven years of relevant experience
  • Deep knowledge of consumer banking regulations and guidance affecting Retail Distribution, including sales practices
  • Experience with compliance monitoring, testing, and control mapping
  • Practical experience managing compliance issues and regulatory change
  • Experience evaluating regulatory risk for new products, services, processes, technology, or business initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills, including communication with executive audiences
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate across multiple business lines
  • Proactive, adaptable, and results-focused approach
  • CRCM certification is preferred
  • Experience implementing artificial intelligence initiatives in consumer banking is a plus
  • Occasional domestic travel is required; international travel is not required
