Account Manager, POS and VM Production – M&S Food

Manage POS and VM production for ITG’s M&S Food account, coordinating artwork, print, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder delivery. This hybrid role supports campaign execution across marketing, planning, artwork, and print production teams.

  • Coordinate POS and VM production and delivery for Windows and Events campaigns across the M&S Food account
  • Work directly with the M&S in-store marketing team and collaborate with key stakeholders
  • Deliver campaigns on schedule and within budget
  • Support the Senior Account Manager in operating the M&S Food marketing function
  • Manage the administrative requirements of marketing campaigns and activities
  • Lead the ITG team in meeting critical-path deadlines
  • Process briefs and share timelines, creative templates, and costings
  • Connect briefs with M&S planning managers and manage relationships between the Marketing and Planning teams
  • Chair campaign pre-production meetings
  • Maintain close links with ITG’s Birmingham Artwork Production Team and escalate urgent or high-volume campaigns
  • Brief final artwork using approved templates
  • Prepare production and artwork briefs, create print specifications, and maintain POS print allocations in Media Centre
  • Provide support to the Print Contract Manager as needed
  • Liaise with printers on deadlines, capacity, purchase orders, and final artwork
  • Maintain M&S POS cost trackers and share cost information with stakeholders
  • Confirm purchase orders are raised before file-to-print dates and highlight risks early

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer-first mindset
  • Previous agency experience, including work in advertising
  • Sound knowledge of creative workflows and a thorough understanding of POS and VM
  • Basic print production knowledge, including cutter requirements
  • Practical, proactive approach with a willingness to work across stores and take measurements
  • Strong self-management skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work quickly
  • Proven project management capability and experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and effective time-management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with ITG and M&S teams
  • Retail experience is helpful but not essential
