Structural Engineering Intern – Buildings

Support STV building projects as a structural engineering intern through design calculations, drafting, documentation, and site visits. Work with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver project requirements.

Description

  • Prepare building and structural design calculations under senior engineer supervision
  • Create structural and related drawings in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Contribute to design reports and project documentation
  • Review shop drawings and construction submittals for training and preliminary compliance checks
  • Coordinate project requirements, schedules, and deliverables
  • Help develop technical documents and presentations
  • Join site visits to collect information and support project execution
  • Work with cross-functional teams to advance project objectives
  • Complete additional assignments supporting team and project goals

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering at an ABET-accredited university or an NCEES-equivalent institution
  • Previous Revit and AutoCAD experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with design codes and standards is preferred
  • This role does not provide sponsorship
