New Graduate Structural Engineer – Toronto Hybrid

Join AtkinsRéalis as a new graduate structural engineer supporting the design of buildings, marine facilities, substations, and transmission structures. The role contributes to projects across Canadian offices and includes mentorship, training, and varied project exposure through the Odyssey Program.

Description

  • Evaluate buildings and other structures
  • Develop structural designs and complete engineering calculations
  • Contribute to projects from planning through design and construction
  • Perform structural design and analysis for ports, wharves, terminals, jetties, hydropower facilities, and dams
  • Assist with the design and calculation of substations and transmission lines
  • Build practical experience through mentorship, training, and diverse project assignments in the Odyssey Program

Requirements

  • New graduate pursuing or holding a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering courses, graduating in 2027
  • Proficiency with industry software
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Careful attention to detail and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
  • A valid driver's license may be required for certain positions
  • May need to obtain PSPC Reliability Status clearance at hire, with an expectation of obtaining PSPC Secret clearance at hire
