Description

  • Lead client development work and shape system architecture.
  • Guide a client team’s delivery efforts.
  • Facilitate client and internal discussions about client satisfaction and ways to improve the relationship.
  • Work with Support Agents and colleagues to resolve client issues and help team members grow.
  • Train client staff and colleagues in group settings on core technologies, tools, and practices.
  • Resolve systemic problems at their source and explain the trade-offs of different approaches.
  • Make ongoing contributions to at least one company area, such as qualification, marketing, or agent support.
  • Model and reinforce the company’s norms, values, vision, and mission.
  • Spot opportunities and work with client services leaders to grow client relationships.

Requirements

  • Expertise in a core technology the company staffs, such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript with React and Node, DevOps, or Java.
  • Proficiency in designing, architecting, and refactoring moderately complex systems maintained by teams of 10 or more.
  • Substantial experience adapting software development and delivery practices across business domains.
  • Consulting experience improving software systems and teams at multiple organizations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at different organizational levels and in different roles.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and delivery team issues.
  • Experience mentoring software engineers and guiding technical direction.
  • Residence in the United States or Canada and legal authorization to work in either country.
