Description

  • Lead discovery, scope, solution design, and estimates for integration engagements
  • Partner directly with customers throughout pre-sales and delivery
  • Translate business challenges into solutions built for the PortX platform
  • Run customer workshops, architecture reviews, whiteboarding sessions, and executive presentations
  • Own solution design documents, ADRs, estimates, and definition-of-done criteria
  • Guide architecture from engagement intake through go-live and handover
  • Apply fixed-price engineering patterns, reusable connectors, and configuration-first approaches
  • Maintain ORCA contract fidelity and adherence to platform conventions
  • Share architectural findings and standards through the Architecture Review Council
  • Confirm scope, requirements, and estimates before delivery commitments are made
  • Mentor and coach PortX and customer development teams
  • Turn project work into reusable connectors, templates, mappings, patterns, and playbooks
  • Apply AI tools for code generation, specification-driven scaffolding, conformance scoring, and documentation
  • Improve integration patterns, delivery methods, estimation models, tools, and documentation continuously
  • Lead hands-on technical spikes, reference implementations, and rescue efforts as needed
  • Ensure engagements use templated or FPE patterns without unreviewed bespoke code
  • Help delivery squads work independently while improving estimation accuracy

Requirements

  • Proven enterprise integration consulting and implementation experience with APIs, event-driven architecture, and iPaaS platforms
  • Experience leading customer engagements
  • Customer-facing capability across discovery, workshop facilitation, estimation, executive communication, scope management, and commercial awareness
  • Ability to read and review code, govern quality, review pull requests, and build prototypes
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering, including code generation, agentic tools, and specification-to-code workflows
  • Working knowledge of containers, Kubernetes or GitOps-style deployment, and AWS
  • Experience with OpenAPI-first design, web-service consumption and specification, Git, and standard build tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and time-management skills
  • Adaptability and responsiveness when priorities shift or deadlines are tight
  • Confident customer-facing presence with the ability to build trust and engagement
  • US citizenship required
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Banking, credit union, or payments experience strongly preferred
  • Experience turning services delivery into repeatable products strongly preferred
  • Architecture governance experience strongly preferred
