Description

  • Lead social media for startup and scale-up brands, primarily in food and beverage and consumer goods, with some lifestyle and luxury clients.
  • Serve as the fractional, in-house Social Media Manager for each brand, typically one to two days per week per client.
  • Drive measurable social growth and commercial outcomes across several brands simultaneously.
  • Create video and static content hands-on for multiple social platforms.
  • Develop the strategic direction behind creative work rather than focusing only on calendars and trends.
  • Challenge founders to adjust their approach when their social strategy is underperforming.
  • Provide guidance on influencer and affiliate marketing.
  • Manage the full social function for brands without additional support.
  • Brief and oversee designers, influencers, and paid-boosting budgets where those resources already exist.
  • Coach and develop emerging social talent, with potential direct and indirect reports as the team expands.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success growing social accounts through hands-on management.
  • Strategic judgment paired with strong creative execution skills.
  • A well-defined perspective on how brands can use social media effectively, with the confidence to advocate for it.
  • Working knowledge of all major social media platforms.
  • Solid understanding of influencer and affiliate marketing.
  • Strong briefing, collaboration, and people-management abilities.
  • Adaptability and broad skills to move comfortably between executing work and managing others.
  • Enthusiasm for a fast-moving environment with varied brands and changing priorities.
  • Genuine interest in coaching and developing junior team members.
  • Existing UK working rights.
  • Located within easy reach of London and available for client or internal in-person meetings at least twice per month.
  • Availability for client or internal in-person meetings a minimum of twice a month.
