Senior Travel Healthcare Recruiter — Remote, United States

Description

  • Source qualified healthcare travelers for active contract openings
  • Independently identify, headhunt, and engage prospective candidates
  • Leverage an established network while developing new candidate pipelines
  • Conduct candidate discovery and pre-submission screening
  • Confirm licenses, certifications, relevant experience, availability, and role-specific qualifications
  • Review schedule flexibility, requested time off, start dates, travel expectations, and potential assignment barriers
  • Assess candidates against the requirements of each clinical setting, including correctional environments when applicable
  • Assemble complete and accurate candidate files ready for submission
  • Provide reliable communication and ongoing follow-up throughout the process
  • Respond promptly to active requisitions and time-sensitive openings
  • Support candidates through submission, interviews, offers, onboarding, and assignment starts
  • Develop lasting relationships with travelers who can complete assignments and return for future contracts

Requirements

  • At least five years of professional recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting for travel healthcare or contract healthcare roles
  • Experience recruiting nurses or allied health travelers
  • Experience managing the full healthcare recruiting cycle
  • Strong candidate sourcing and headhunting capabilities
  • Proven approaches for finding and engaging healthcare travelers
  • Ability to independently build and sustain an active candidate pipeline
  • Strong skills in candidate discovery, screening, and qualification
  • Working knowledge of healthcare licenses, certifications, clinical experience criteria, and travel candidate documentation
  • Ability to assess candidates against detailed assignment requirements before submission
  • Ability to work consistently and quickly on time-sensitive healthcare requisitions
  • Excellent candidate communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple active requisitions and candidate pipelines independently
  • Ability to recruit effectively without basic recruiter or travel staffing training
  • Willingness to work as a 1099 independent contractor on a commission-only basis
  • Must be based in the United States
