Experienced Travel Nurse and Allied Health Recruiter – 1099 Contractor (Remote)

Description

  • Recruit qualified healthcare travelers for active contract opportunities
  • Source, headhunt, and engage candidates independently
  • Leverage an existing network while developing new candidate pipelines
  • Conduct thorough candidate discovery and screening before submission
  • Verify licenses, certifications, relevant experience, availability, and assignment-specific requirements
  • Discuss schedule flexibility, requested time off, start dates, travel expectations, and potential barriers to assignment commencement
  • Assess candidate readiness for specific clinical environments, including correctional settings when applicable
  • Prepare complete and accurate candidate files for submission
  • Maintain regular candidate communication and follow-up
  • Respond promptly to active requisitions and time-sensitive openings
  • Support candidates through submission, interviews, offers, onboarding, and assignment starts
  • Build lasting relationships with travelers who can complete assignments and return for future contracts

Requirements

  • At least five years of professional recruiting experience
  • Proven experience recruiting for travel healthcare or contract healthcare roles
  • Experience recruiting nurses and/or allied health travelers
  • Experience managing the full healthcare recruiting cycle
  • Strong candidate sourcing and headhunting capabilities
  • Established approaches for finding and engaging healthcare travelers
  • Ability to independently develop and maintain an active candidate pipeline
  • Strong candidate discovery, screening, and qualification skills
  • Working knowledge of healthcare licenses, certifications, clinical experience requirements, and travel-candidate documentation
  • Ability to assess candidates against detailed assignment criteria before submission
  • Ability to work consistently and efficiently on time-sensitive healthcare requisitions
  • Excellent candidate communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple active requisitions and candidate pipelines independently
  • Ability to recruit effectively without basic recruiter or travel-staffing training
  • Comfort working as a 1099 independent contractor on a commission-only basis
  • Must be based in the United States
  • This opportunity is not intended for new or entry-level recruiters
