- Create inference pipelines that reason across user interactions and internal systems
- Rapidly prototype agent behaviors and turn validated solutions into production systems
- Design backend services that connect internal APIs and data sources
- Establish safe, observable, and controllable patterns for agent execution
- Partner across teams to uncover high-impact automation opportunities
- Improve performance, reliability, and signal quality as adoption grows
- Help shape foundational architecture for a new agent platform
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and internal operations teams
- Create internal AI agents that interact directly with company systems
Requirements
- At least five years of experience delivering production software systems
- Strong backend foundations in APIs, distributed systems, data modeling, and reliability
- Experience developing full-stack systems, primarily backend with some frontend work
- Production experience with AI/ML systems, large language models, or inference pipelines
- Ability to move quickly from prototypes toward production-ready architecture
- Strong systems perspective on orchestration, failure handling, and observability
- Comfort taking ownership in ambiguous, early-stage environments
- Experience with agent systems or autonomous workflows is a plus
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, evaluation methods, or model-performance tuning is a plus
- Experience connecting enterprise systems such as CRM, support, or analytics platforms is a plus
- Background in developer platforms or internal tools is a plus
- Experience designing AI guardrails, sandboxing, or safety controls is a plus
