Description

  • Direct multiple feature and application developments with internal and outsourced partners through solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with internal and external software development teams
  • Assess designs and project work against application development standards and guidelines
  • Deliver actionable feedback that raises product quality and reduces failure risk
  • Provide specialized domain expertise and software leadership for cross-functional projects, programs, and initiatives
  • Advance innovation by incorporating emerging technologies into software design and development work
  • Coach and support less-experienced team members
  • Represent the organization to external customers and clients when needed
  • Help shape new ideas, working methods, process improvements, and policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or an equivalent field
  • Generally 6–10 years of professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build solutions from the ground up
  • Track record of successfully delivering products to market
  • Proficiency with several software development tools and languages, especially C/C++, C#, .NET Core, WPF, or XAML
  • Experience applying unit testing practices
  • Understanding of Agile principles and experience with tools such as ADO
  • Understanding of application design for software running across platforms including Windows
  • Strong knowledge of the Windows registry, certificates, file and folder security, local and domain user security, and operating systems
  • Hands-on experience with Windows programming, including multithreading, sockets, and Windows application development
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex application problems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience designing the overall architecture of software applications for products and solutions
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with mastery of English and the local language
  • Ability to explain product architectures and design proposals and negotiate options with senior management
  • Prior knowledge of software security principles and cryptography is preferred
  • Experience with ReactJS, Python, Django, Go/Rust, or Xamarin is an advantage
  • Knowledge of WMI, COM, networking, concurrency, databases, and code optimization or performance testing is an advantage
  • Experience creating responsive web applications with JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, and CSS is an advantage
