Senior Power Platform Solution Architect Remote Egypt

Lead secure, enterprise-grade solutions across Microsoft Power Platform and Azure. Guide Agile teams through architecture, delivery, deployment, and production stabilization.

Description

  • Lead architecture for defined initiatives within the client’s Power Platform environment
  • Convert business capabilities and functional and non-functional requirements into practical end-to-end architectures
  • Design solutions spanning Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, Azure services, and external integrations
  • Establish solution boundaries, data models, integration patterns, security concepts, environment strategies, and deployment methods
  • Advise on the appropriate balance of configuration, low-code, and custom development
  • Evaluate the use of React, PCF, Azure Functions, and other Azure components
  • Align solutions with enterprise architecture, identity and access management, data protection, ALM, security, and operational support requirements
  • Define and manage environment strategies for development, testing, staging, and production
  • Lead architecture reviews and record decisions, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and exceptions
  • Support estimation, backlog refinement, technical planning, and delivery planning with product owners and engineering teams
  • Guide developers and review solution designs, technical approaches, integration patterns, and deployment concepts
  • Coach delivery teams and reinforce consistent architecture and engineering practices
  • Provide technical leadership for critical releases, production stabilization, incident investigations, and root-cause analysis
  • Identify technical risks early and develop mitigation measures before they affect delivery or production
  • Balance governance and architectural standards with practical delivery needs while limiting unnecessary complexity

Requirements

  • At least eight years of experience in solution architecture, solution design, or software engineering, including substantial hands-on work with enterprise Microsoft Power Platform solutions
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering production solutions across multiple applications, environments, systems, and integration endpoints
  • Advanced expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Platform architecture
  • Strong knowledge of Dataverse data modeling, relationships, security roles, permissions, identity, and enterprise data architecture
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, integration patterns, connectors, and enterprise application integration
  • Practical Microsoft Azure experience, including solutions that connect Power Platform with Azure services
  • Hands-on experience with managed solutions, environment strategies, source control, Azure DevOps, and structured ALM practices
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD and deployment strategies for enterprise Power Platform solutions
  • Ability to define and evaluate non-functional requirements for security, performance, scalability, availability, reliability, supportability, maintainability, and compliance
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID and enterprise identity and access management
  • Experience defining security architecture and data protection approaches for enterprise applications
  • Experience determining when to use configuration, low-code, custom development, or external services
  • Practical knowledge of React, PCF controls, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and/or event-driven integration is advantageous
  • Experience with Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and the architecture or governance of AI-enabled business solutions is advantageous
  • Experience with Power Pages and external-facing Power Platform solutions is advantageous
  • Experience supporting distributed, remote, or nearshore development teams is advantageous
  • Microsoft Power Platform or Azure architecture certification, especially PL-600, is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate architecture decisions with technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proven ability to produce clear, structured, and traceable architecture documentation and technical decisions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach
  • Ability to provide hands-on technical guidance and validate important architectural decisions
  • Professional English communication skills, including strong written and verbal communication in an international engineering environment
