Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Minnesota Remote)

Lead full-stack development for MHC’s AI-powered platform for document, communication, and payment automation. Own architecture, engineering quality, delivery, and the effective use of AI coding agents.

Description

  • Deliver full-stack capabilities across the platform from design through production release
  • Develop .NET services and APIs, data-access layers, and modern Vue or React applications with TypeScript
  • Define technical architecture and design for new services and product features
  • Make pragmatic tradeoffs among delivery speed, scalability, and long-term maintainability
  • Produce clean, thoroughly tested, and observable software
  • Maintain strong practices for testing, code review, CI/CD, and reliable operations
  • Apply AI coding agents throughout planning, implementation, testing, refactoring, and code review
  • Divide complex initiatives into well-scoped tasks and provide agents with specifications, context, and safeguards
  • Validate and strengthen agent-produced code for correctness, security, and quality
  • Advance team workflows through reusable prompts, agent tooling, and improved engineering practices
  • Work with Product, Design, and engineering partners to convert unclear challenges into customer value
  • Coach colleagues, shape technical direction, and define standards for an agent-first engineering culture
  • Travel regularly for partner discussions, business reviews, industry events, and company gatherings

Requirements

  • Demonstrated production experience with an agentic engineering workflow using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, or comparable assistants
  • Strong knowledge of system design, data modeling, APIs, relational databases including SQL Server or PostgreSQL, testing, and CI/CD
  • Professional cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Working knowledge of containers, automated delivery pipelines, and observability
  • Sound judgment and strong review skills for assessing and securing AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance
  • Clear communicator who can break down ambiguous work and collaborate effectively on a distributed remote team
  • At least five years of professional software engineering experience delivering production full-stack applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline required; equivalent practical experience may be considered
  • Applicants must be located in the United States

  • Preferred: experience creating prompts, custom agent tools, MCP servers, or agentic workflows
  • Preferred: familiarity with LLM APIs from OpenAI or Anthropic and retrieval-augmented generation
  • Preferred: experience in B2B SaaS, document or process automation, or data- and workflow-intensive enterprise products
  • Preferred: knowledge of security and compliance for multi-tenant SaaS, including SOC 2
  • Preferred: open-source contributions or a demonstrated history of improving team engineering practices
