Senior Data Analyst, Federal Programs (Onsite - Washington)

Support E-INFOSOL’s federal mission clients through executive briefings, policy analysis, complex project coordination, and Power BI reporting. Develop data products and management recommendations from quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Description

  • Prepare executive briefings that explain program data, requirements, issues, and recommendations
  • Research and document Branch policy drafts, status papers, classification evaluations, MOUs, tasker responses, RFIs, and related analytical products
  • Coordinate with internal and external divisions to gather task responses and submit Branch-approved materials for information requests
  • Brief management on program and project status, issues, and available options
  • Evaluate quantitative and qualitative data to identify issues and develop recommendations
  • Retrieve source data from multiple databases
  • Use spreadsheets, pivot tables, and Power BI to create reports, graphics, and tables for briefing materials
  • Research practices, guidance, policies, and regulations to support analysis of available options
  • Maintain the Branch tasking system, including tasker requests and final approved submissions
  • Attend meetings and prepare notes covering discussion topics, outcomes, and follow-up actions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, MBA, or master’s degree from an accredited institution in economics, data analytics, or another relevant analytical, scientific, or data-focused field
  • Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and CI Poly
  • At least 5 years of expert-level federal government experience in intelligence, defense, or law enforcement, leading or coordinating multiple complex projects under frequent aggressive or competing deadlines
  • At least 3 years researching, analyzing, and coordinating content for policy updates, technical and programmatic status papers, classification evaluations, MOUs, and other analytical products for executive and external agency audiences
  • At least 3 years producing data- and resource-focused summary papers, reports, and briefs with written analysis, justifications, and graphics describing operational outcomes
  • At least 3 years applying operational objectives and outcomes to fiscal goals
  • At least 3 years using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and pivot tables, Power BI, PowerPoint and presentation graphics, Word, and SharePoint lists and workflow tools
  • At least 3 years working successfully at the Executive Staff level
  • At least 1 year writing reports and presenting briefing materials
  • Writing sample required
  • Preferred: 5 years using Microsoft Excel as an analytical tool
  • Preferred: 5 years applying federal planning, programming, and evaluation or execution processes and principles
  • Preferred: 5 years writing resource justifications for Congressional, OMB, DOJ, and ODNI audiences
