Description

  • Design and govern the CSDM target model for Business Applications, Application Services, Software Models, and Entitlements.
  • Establish rules for software model promotion, data ownership, normalization, and duplicate record management.
  • Lead ServiceNow Discovery coverage and identify ways to improve CMDB completeness and accuracy.
  • Direct Service Mapping and dependency mapping efforts for application retirement and modernization programs.
  • Define the data contract and integration approach between ServiceNow and the portfolio management platform.
  • Create CMDB/ITOM governance standards and work with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Application, and Security teams.
  • Support the retirement of an external Enterprise Architecture tool and position ServiceNow as the trusted source for application and service data.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a CMDB Architect, ITOM Architect, or ServiceNow Architect.
  • Hands-on expertise with ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
  • Experience improving CMDB data quality through reconciliation, normalization, and duplicate management.
  • Background in application lifecycle management, dependency mapping, and enterprise integrations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • CIS – Discovery certification is preferred.
  • CIS – Service Mapping certification is preferred.
  • CIS – Data Foundations certification is preferred.
  • ServiceNow CSA certification is a plus.
