Description

  • Build and deploy backend services and distributed systems for large-scale online model inference.
  • Set technical direction for the inference platform, with a focus on low-latency, high-throughput serving.
  • Work with machine learning engineers to scale online serving as model complexity and inference volumes grow.
  • Use monitoring and observability tools to maintain reliability, scalability, and efficiency in production.
  • Manage and optimize Google Cloud infrastructure.
  • Orchestrate workloads with Kubernetes in a high-scale production environment.
  • Establish and apply backend best practices for development, testing, deployment, and monitoring across DevOps and SRE.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience designing, deploying, and maintaining distributed systems at scale.
  • Advanced Golang skills for developing high-performance, low-latency backend infrastructure.
  • Practical experience with Google Cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes workload orchestration.
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, including Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Background in ad tech, recommendation systems, real-time personalization, or another performance-critical field.
  • Familiarity with microservices, Docker-based containerization, and CI/CD practices.
  • Familiarity with machine learning platforms, workflows, and model serving infrastructure.
  • Experience using ML inference servers such as NVIDIA Triton Inference Server.
  • Familiarity with auctions or bidding systems in an advertising technology setting.
  • Professional spoken and written English.
