Remote Curriculum Development Intern at ALU
Support ALU’s WfW initiative by developing remote learning curricula, digital delivery tools, virtual gatherings, and evaluation methods for grantee capacity-building and conservation learning.
Description
- Research curriculum needs and create practical learning materials and tools.
- Capture emerging knowledge and turn it into new learning products.
- Build and maintain digital platforms that support curriculum delivery.
- Enable communication and knowledge exchange through digital platforms.
- Plan and coordinate virtual curriculum-focused gatherings.
- Contribute to the WfW Community of Learning throughout its 12-month period.
- Carry out qualitative needs assessments for incoming grantees.
- Develop learning pathways combining remote instruction with facilitated practical work.
- Lead eight virtual gatherings.
- Create and apply impact evaluation approaches for individual grantee projects and the wider network.
- Develop and apply self-assessment approaches focused on gender equity and gender-related rights.
Requirements
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Working knowledge of WhatsApp, Slack, Zoom, and Google Docs.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal abilities with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Some experience with, and basic comfort in, curriculum design and educational curriculum evaluation.
