Remote CMS Web Developer

Brainrider is seeking a remote CMS Web Developer to build and optimize developer-focused websites for technology clients. The role covers CMS development, UX, analytics, launches, integrations, QA, and AI-supported workflows.

Description

  • Create and maintain web pages, landing pages, blogs, and digital content across internal and external CMS platforms
  • Deliver website updates through CMS tools and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Use component-based design systems and flag needs for new or enhanced components
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on complex development work, technical improvements, and issue resolution
  • Manage content publishing, maintenance, and updates for developer-focused web properties
  • Verify that updates are responsive, accessible, accurate, and consistent with brand and technical standards
  • Recommend improvements to website functionality, user experience, and engagement
  • Analyze website performance and user data to inform UX/UI recommendations
  • Prepare design concepts and facilitate design and brand reviews before implementation
  • Contribute to website projects supporting product launches, events, campaigns, and continuous improvements
  • Collect requirements, set priorities, coordinate workstreams, and deliver updates with product, marketing, design, engineering, and other stakeholders
  • Perform quality assurance across browsers, devices, and screen sizes
  • Diagnose website problems, determine root causes, and coordinate fixes
  • Create, maintain, and improve web forms for lead generation and registration
  • Assist with integrations connecting website forms and CMS platforms to systems such as Salesforce
  • Implement and verify analytics tracking, tagging, and reporting requirements
  • Contribute to performance reporting and deliver actionable findings
  • Apply SEO practices covering metadata, content structure, and website optimization
  • Use AI tools to support development, publishing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance
  • Find opportunities to automate repetitive CMS tasks, reporting, and operational processes
  • Review and approve AI-assisted work before it goes live

Requirements

  • Bring 3–5 years of experience in web development, CMS management, or a combined web production and development role
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Have hands-on experience building and maintaining websites with enterprise CMS platforms
  • Understand component-based website architectures and reusable design systems
  • Have supported website launches, content publishing, and ongoing site optimization
  • Understand UX/UI principles and can turn performance findings into practical website improvements
  • Have experience using web analytics tools to assess site performance and engagement
  • Bring strong QA and troubleshooting abilities with exceptional attention to detail
  • Have used AI tools for development, automation, debugging, and productivity
  • Be able to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Take ownership of workstreams, raise issues proactively, and work independently
