Remote Analytics & Reporting Analyst

Develop reimbursement and financial models for Health Care Service Corporation, using SQL and Excel reporting to support pricing, contracting, and provider network decisions.

Description

  • Build and maintain reimbursement and financial models
  • Support contracting, pricing strategies, network initiatives, and other important business decisions
  • Review contract proposals and reimbursement methodologies
  • Perform financial impact analyses, scenario modeling, and forecasting
  • Create reports and analytical tools that turn data into actionable insights
  • Use data to evaluate reimbursement and broader business challenges
  • Spot meaningful trends in the data
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of model assumptions and results
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Prepare data sets and analytical reports with SQL, Excel, or other reporting tools
  • Validate report accuracy and offer insights with appropriate guidance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or two years of experience in data analysis and information reporting
  • Develop working knowledge of the division, its business processes, and its customers
  • Help address a range of business problems
  • Support the development of solutions using standard procedures for routine or basic problems
  • Help create data sets and reports for analysis with SQL, Excel, or other reporting tools
  • Check report accuracy and provide insights with guidance
  • Apply established practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services
  • Build required skills through assigned work
  • Employer sponsorship is not available
  • Work remotely from anywhere in the continental United States except California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii
