Description
- Research quantitative models for trading strategies across multiple asset classes
- Analyze large datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and potential investment opportunities
- Design, backtest, and optimize algorithmic trading models to improve performance and manage risk
- Work with colleagues to refine trading algorithms in response to market conditions and new research
- Monitor live trading systems to verify efficient and accurate real-time operation
- Track market developments, financial instruments, and emerging quantitative methods to strengthen trading strategies
- Record research methods, model assumptions, and performance metrics for continued review and improvement
Requirements
- Professional research experience in financial services, especially investment banking or asset management
- Strong finance background with knowledge of investment strategies, risk analysis, and quantitative modeling
- Advanced mathematics and statistical analysis skills, with programming proficiency in Python, R, or MATLAB
- Familiarity with financial markets, financial instruments, and trading platforms is preferred
- Ability to evaluate complex datasets and create solutions to investment-related challenges
- Experience developing or implementing algorithmic trading systems is an advantage
