Partner, Crop Protection, EMEA – ERM, Madrid

Lead crop protection and chemical regulatory consulting growth across EMEA at ERM, a global sustainability consultancy. Oversee business development, key accounts, project delivery, and multidisciplinary teams.

Description

  • Create and execute strategic business plans for ERM’s Sustainable Product & Supply Chain team
  • Lead team expansion and client growth while delivering strong performance results
  • Achieve double-digit profitable growth in targeted market sectors
  • Secure annual project wins through new opportunities, technical proposals, and business development
  • Build strategic client relationships and address commercial development priorities
  • Plan and oversee large-scale engagements and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Deliver work against agreed scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards
  • Manage, develop, coach, and mentor consultants
  • Promote and cross-sell ERM’s broad portfolio of services
  • Use ERM’s international network to collaborate with offices across EMEA and other regions
  • Expand services covering substance registration, crop protection authorisation, product stewardship, regulatory support, strategy, and auditing

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of the regulatory environment for crop protection and chemical products
  • Working knowledge of EU and GB REACH and associated regulatory frameworks
  • Skill in converting complex regulatory obligations into practical, strategic client solutions
  • Commercially focused leadership experience
  • Established success developing and managing key client relationships
  • Experience in business development, key account management, and service-line growth
  • Ability to uncover opportunities, shape proposals, and develop durable stakeholder partnerships
  • Experience planning and leading large projects with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to deliver against client requirements for scope, budget, schedule, and quality
  • Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring people
  • Familiarity with international frameworks including TSCA, FIFRA, OSHA, and UN GHS is advantageous
  • Awareness of emerging market registration schemes is advantageous
