Nokia Senior Program Manager, PIC Data Engineering — Remote Nevada

Description

  • Own the architecture and hands-on delivery of scalable cloud lakehouses and data warehouses for PIC operations
  • Use Databricks, AWS, or comparable platforms to meet Nokia’s operational data requirements
  • Shape, optimize, and evolve enterprise data models and semantic layers
  • Build and maintain reliable batch and real-time pipelines with ETL/ELT and streaming technologies
  • Define data quality frameworks, monitoring, and observability practices
  • Deliver CI/CD pipelines and advance DataOps practices
  • Lead data governance across cataloging, lineage, metadata, and access controls
  • Establish security protocols and role-based access management
  • Create governed, AI-ready data foundations for self-service analytics, AI-assisted discovery, and advanced analysis
  • Provide business, engineering, and analytics teams with secure access to trusted enterprise data
  • Develop infrastructure for AI, automation, machine learning, and advanced analytics programs
  • Mentor product engineers, set technical direction, and promote strong engineering practices
  • Promote data quality, accountability, self-service adoption, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated success delivering solutions for wafer and chip fabrication processes
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least five years leading, developing, and motivating technical teams
  • Advanced SQL skills and deep experience with modern cloud data platforms and distributed processing frameworks
  • Practical experience with Databricks, Redshift, or BigQuery
  • Background building governed data platforms and products for self-service analytics, AI-assisted analytics, machine learning, and advanced analytical workloads
  • Databricks lakehouse architecture, Unity Catalog, Genie, and Genie Code experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong command of enterprise and dimensional data modeling and semantic layer design
  • Experience with data orchestration and sophisticated pipeline automation
  • Ability to architect scalable, secure, governed, and dependable enterprise data solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate across business, engineering, analytics, and technology teams
