Management Systems Analyst – Hybrid in Canada

Description

  • Support deployment teams and technology groups, especially the Risk Management and General Services Squad.
  • Gather, analyze, and validate business requirements.
  • Align business needs, data, and technology solutions.
  • Work with product owners, deployment teams, and stakeholders to refine backlogs, design solutions, and deliver products in an agile environment.
  • Translate business needs into structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Evaluate solution impacts on applications, business processes, and data integrity.
  • Identify dependencies, risks, and integration requirements.
  • Validate analytical results, requirements, and proposed solutions, including AI-generated content.
  • Explain complex issues to stakeholders and guide decision-making.
  • Create and maintain documentation and deliverables for validation, traceability, and deployment.
  • Prioritize defects, perform root cause analysis, and verify solutions.
  • Develop test scenarios, support user acceptance testing, resolve functional issues, and record test results.
  • Define business problems and decision questions for analysis, including AI-supported exploration.
  • Convert findings into business implications and decision alternatives.
  • Contribute to the Management Systems and Deployment Analysis Community, knowledge-sharing efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least five years of experience at Level 17 or seven years at Level 18 in management systems analysis within a technology solution deployment environment.
  • Extensive experience researching, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria in agile delivery models.
  • Experience delivering end-to-end solutions, including backlog refinement, defect triage, root cause analysis, and user acceptance testing.
  • Experience evaluating impacts across systems, business processes, and data while aligning solutions with business objectives and constraints.
  • Experience validating requirements, analytical results, and solutions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business rules and data integrity standards.
  • Experience with digital deployment platforms and modern analytics tools, including the use of data, automation, and AI-generated insights.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops, lead discussions, and build consensus among stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities when working with business and technical teams.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective collaborative relationships across departments.
  • Ability to identify and manage risks, dependencies, and impacts proactively and systematically.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience integrating enterprise and cloud platforms such as ServiceNow through REST APIs, API version management, and authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, with a focus on scalable, reliable integrations.
  • Ability to work effectively in complex, continually changing environments.
  • Understanding of business rules, controls, and risk-sensitive environments.
  • Fluency in both official languages is an asset.
