Maintenance Technician - Arlington, TX (Onsite)

CCMC is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to care for facilities, grounds, and community amenities in Arlington, Texas. The role covers repairs, cleaning, waste removal, lighting, plumbing, and event setup support.

Description

  • Keep facilities and buildings clean
  • Remove garbage and other waste
  • Set up and break down rooms and events
  • Handle maintenance tasks ranging from basic repairs to more complex work
  • Inspect lighting and clean light lenses
  • Replace bulbs and ballasts
  • Repair and maintain doors and locks
  • Perform caulking, surface preparation, and painting
  • Complete minor carpentry repairs
  • Maintain plumbing systems and repair or replace faucets and fixtures
  • Maintain restricted-access gates, storage closets, doors, and locks
  • Clean pool areas, dumpster areas, and shared spaces
  • Empty trash and pet-waste receptacles
  • Identify and resolve maintenance needs across the property
  • Assist the Lifestyle Director outside regular hours when requested
  • Provide occasional on-call coverage
  • Help maintain a safe, well-kept community environment

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a related maintenance field is preferred
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance is preferred
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Self-directed, observant, and highly attentive to detail
  • Able to identify maintenance needs across the property and resolve issues
  • Able to communicate clearly with managers, residents, and coworkers in speech and writing
  • Able to follow instructions and assigned schedules
  • Reliable, solution-focused, and professional in appearance
  • Friendly demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to pass a background check, physical examination, and drug screening
  • Valid driver’s license issued by the state of employment
  • Access to a personal vehicle
  • Available to assist the Lifestyle Director outside normal business hours
  • Available for occasional on-call work
  • Able to walk long distances across the grounds in varying weather conditions
  • Able to occasionally lift and carry supplies or equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Able to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events
  • Manual dexterity for using computers and mobile devices
  • Able to operate a vehicle
  • Maintain a clean motor vehicle record and current automobile insurance at statutory limits
