Description

Shape the target data architecture for a large-scale financial-services cloud transformation
Design enterprise data architectures and target-state platforms on Google Cloud Platform
Set Bronze, Silver, and Gold lakehouse architecture patterns and standards
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for complex business domains
Establish data governance, data quality controls, and metadata standards
Define integration architecture, data lineage, and end-to-end data flows
Work with business and technology stakeholders to identify shared data elements and enrichments
Support analysis-ready datasets and reusable data products
Guide BigQuery implementations and cloud-native data platform solutions
Evaluate cloud migration strategies and target-state architecture alternatives
Maintain alignment with security, IAM, and regulatory obligations
Participate in architecture reviews, technical decisions, and practice development

Requirements

Extensive background in enterprise data architecture
Strong command of data lakehouse architecture, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold patterns
Practical experience designing GCP architectures
Advanced expertise with BigQuery
Experience developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality management
Experience with integration architecture and data lineage
Understanding of GCP security and IAM principles
Experience in financial markets or surveillance environments
Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
Experience with market abuse or unauthorized trading surveillance systems
Knowledge of Vertex AI and machine learning platforms
Experience with regulatory reporting or compliance programs
Hands-on experience with Dataflow or Apache Beam
Knowledge of Kubernetes, including GKE
Experience with Terraform and CI/CD tools
Understanding of Java-based enterprise platforms
