Junior Java Application Support Engineer - Hybrid, Mexico City

Description
- Monitor and follow up on incidents affecting Java and APX systems
- Perform prompt diagnostics in coordination with technical teams and dependent applications
- Develop software in accordance with applicable coding and version-control policies
- Resolve daily operational incidents while maintaining process performance and service-level agreement compliance
- Analyze information to resolve complex technical problems
- Contribute throughout the full lifecycle of technology projects
- Drive evolutionary optimizations through Service Kaizen
Requirements
- Degree-level training in Computer Systems Engineering or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience providing technical and operational application support
- Intermediate proficiency in Java and related ecosystem tools
- Analytical ability to diagnose technology incidents and address their root causes
- Strong skills in detailed log and trace analysis
- Availability for 24/7 coverage
- Intermediate Java proficiency
- Intermediate experience with Maven, Spring, and Spark
- Intermediate experience with Oracle, Elasticsearch, GitHub, Copilot, and Jira
- Basic English proficiency
- Bachelor's degree or engineering degree in Computer Systems or a related field, plus 1 to 3 years of systems support experience.
