Financial Management Palantir Data Analyst (Analyst and Manager Levels) – Remote

Support Department of War transformation projects by using Palantir Foundry and Vantage to develop financial data solutions. Build reporting and decision-support capabilities across financial management operations.

Description

  • Design, develop, and enhance Vantage solutions with Palantir Foundry for Department of War clients
  • Improve financial management operations, reporting, data transparency, and decision-making
  • Develop and support Palantir Foundry pipelines, transforms, datasets, and data lineage
  • Build and enhance Palantir Workshop applications
  • Create data-processing solutions with Python, SQL, PySpark, and Spark
  • Work with Databricks, Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server, and other relational or analytical data stores
  • Apply established data modeling principles
  • Support Advana/Vantage integrations as project requirements arise
  • Manage federal financial data covering budgets, execution, and accounting
  • Implement data controls and support reconciliation activities
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in data solutions
  • Explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Supervise and mentor project team members at the Manager level
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams, engage senior stakeholders, and promote collaboration, accountability, and professional development at the Manager level

Requirements

  • Maintain an active Secret Federal or Department of War security clearance
  • Hold a bachelor's degree and have at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Have experience with Palantir Foundry
  • Have experience with Palantir Workshop
  • Experience supporting or integrating with DoD Advana/Vantage is highly desirable
  • Have experience with Python, SQL, PySpark, and Spark-based data processing
  • Have built or supported Palantir Foundry solutions involving pipelines, transforms, datasets, and data lineage
  • Have worked with relational and analytical data stores such as Databricks, Oracle, Postgres, and SQL Server
  • Apply sound data modeling principles
  • Have experience handling federal financial data, including budget, execution, and accounting information
  • Understand data controls and reconciliation requirements
  • Managers must have at least 5 years of experience
  • Managers must demonstrate the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence senior stakeholders
  • Be able to travel up to 20% based on client needs
  • Desired: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Desired: Direct experience supporting Department of War financial, PPBE, comptroller/CFO, or audit programs
  • Desired: Knowledge of federal financial systems such as GFEBS, Navy ERP, DAI, and DEAMS
  • Desired: Knowledge of federal financial management and accounting concepts, data structures, and policies, including the Treasury Financial Manual, OMB Circular A-123, SFFAS, and USSGL
  • Desired: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment
  • Desired: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Desired: Familiarity with Git-based version control, CI/CD concepts, and Agile delivery methods in secure environments
  • Desired: Experience with Advana/Vantage ecosystems or related DoD enterprise analytics platforms
  • Desired: Palantir, AWS, Azure, or Databricks certifications
  • Desired: Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, lineage, and access controls in classified or controlled unclassified environments
  • Desired: Understanding of Department of War data, security, and compliance frameworks, including RMF and ATO processes
  • Desired: Previous consulting experience with federal or defense clients
