General Manager, Atlanta Cannabis Retail Store

Lead Trulieve’s onsite Atlanta cannabis retail store, overseeing employees, inventory, compliance, sales performance, and patient service. This role manages daily operations and team development while meeting company and regulatory standards.

Description

  • Supervise and lead store personnel
  • Monitor and control inventory levels
  • Drive performance against key operating metrics
  • Oversee efficient day-to-day store operations
  • Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations
  • Develop and execute plans that strengthen service quality and sales results
  • Protect visual merchandising and brand presentation standards
  • Communicate and enforce company SOPs, including updates for employees
  • Assess employee performance and identify hiring and training requirements
  • Coach, train, and develop employees against service standards and defined goals
  • Resolve patient concerns and escalated issues
  • Build and sustain professional relationships with business partners
  • Create effective schedules within the approved labor budget
  • Protect confidential information and maintain compliance requirements
  • Complete additional duties assigned by management
  • Report to the Area Manager

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous management experience, preferably in retail or customer service
  • Previous cash-handling experience
  • Ability to train, develop, and evaluate a team of more than 40 employees
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and professional conduct
  • Ability to protect confidential information and exercise discretion
  • Conversational proficiency in English
  • Ability to use electronic equipment such as computers, scanners, printers, and telecommunications devices
  • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
  • Ability to analyze data and reach appropriate conclusions
  • A valid driver’s license and passing MVR background check for delivery locations only
  • Ability to pass Level 1 and Level 2 background checks
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
  • Ability to assist patrons of varying ages and abilities, including individuals experiencing emotional distress or displaying hostility
  • Ability to move throughout the facility and work in confined spaces
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb and descend stools, ladders, and steps
  • Adequate visual and auditory acuity, with or without aids
  • Availability to work more than 45 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
