Description

  • Oversee administration, business operations, and program development across one or more ambulatory services
  • Promote patient access, service satisfaction, and cost-efficient practice management
  • Partner with Medical Directors and the Nurse Manager within a matrix leadership structure
  • Manage administrative and non-clinical support staff
  • Track compliance with managed care plans
  • Develop procedures and performance standards that strengthen practice efficiency and effectiveness
  • Pursue growth in patient volume and services while managing expenses
  • Deliver continuing leadership development for staff
  • Promote customer satisfaction and address related concerns

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Science, or equivalent professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with 5–7 years of relevant experience
  • At least three years of management and budget experience
  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred
  • Broad knowledge of clinical operations and hospital financial and human resources policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with hospital and physician reimbursement, external regulations, and legal requirements
  • Proficiency with computerized healthcare information systems, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and oversee multiple projects at the same time
