Founding Tech Lead, GrowthBricks at JetBrains (Germany Remote)

Lead the creation of GrowthBricks, JetBrains’ shared business intelligence platform for go-to-market teams and AI agents. Own its architecture, integrations, memory, and agentic workflows from initial concept through production.

Description

  • Lead GrowthBricks’ technical architecture and core systems from the ground up
  • Partner with the product founder on architecture, integrations, core systems, and the agent layer
  • Design systems covering business context, agents, memory, tools, integrations, and feedback loops
  • Build agentic workflows that use company context across CRM, sales, marketing, and product platforms
  • Develop context extractors for sales calls, email, internal documents, CRM states, and campaign data
  • Improve prompting, context management, memory, tool use, and orchestration
  • Integrate GrowthBricks with the existing go-to-market technology stack
  • Choose appropriately among MCP, APIs, open-source frameworks, third-party tools, and custom solutions
  • Rapidly prototype, remove weak approaches, and promote successful concepts into production primitives
  • Write much of the initial code and make critical technical decisions
  • Deliver core primitives for context extraction, memory, and orchestration within the first six months
  • Create a pragmatic codebase and verify that agent actions generate measurable business value

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience creating, evaluating, and improving LLM applications, agents, or agentic workflows used by real users
  • Proven ability to design backend systems, data models, APIs, and integrations
  • Working knowledge of context management, memory patterns, prompting techniques, and tool orchestration
  • Comfort operating with substantial technical autonomy in zero-to-one environments
  • A practical approach that favors clear, simple solutions over unnecessary complexity
  • Confidence making important architecture decisions as requirements change
  • Strong focus on user outcomes and willingness to iterate from real feedback
  • Practical familiarity with modern go-to-market stacks, including CRMs, enrichment platforms, marketing automation, or sales and marketing workflows is a plus
  • Experience in solution engineering, sales engineering, pre-sales, or software development for go-to-market teams is especially relevant
  • Understanding of CRM, enrichment, outbound, automation, and product signals is advantageous
  • Experience automating sales or marketing workflows, preferably with agents or LLMs, is advantageous
  • Experience taking a technical product from an empty repository to real-world use is advantageous
  • Go-to-market experience is not required
