Finance Assistant - Schomp Automotive Aurora

Process vehicle financing, credit applications, contracts, and transaction funds for Schomp Automotive’s Aurora dealership campus. Support sales staff and help meet one-hour deal-processing targets.

Description

  • Receipt cash deposits accurately and verify that all transaction funds are received
  • Submit customer credit applications
  • Prepare, scan, and fund contracts
  • Monitor and update the Contract in Transit (CIT) account
  • Update software notes for all unfunded deals
  • Send and scan Finance and Insurance contracts for daily remittance
  • Maintain a log of all contracts sent
  • Prioritize vehicle deals to meet the customer-facing one-hour processing commitment
  • Collaborate directly with sales staff
  • Manage vehicle financing during the sales process without direct customer interaction

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Mathematical aptitude
  • Interest in finance
  • Loan processing or credit reporting experience is a plus
  • Willingness to work beyond regular shifts when needed to complete customer transactions
  • Availability to work Saturdays
  • Full-time availability
