Contract Manager - Commercial Contracts and Ironclad

Manage commercial agreements, contract intake, and Ironclad workflows for Higgsfield AI’s growing generative video business. Partner with Legal, Finance, Growth, Marketing, Recruiting, PR, and B2B teams across the contracting lifecycle.

Description

  • Manage the full lifecycle of commercial agreements, including creator and influencer agreements, agency MSAs, PR and sponsorship agreements, content licensing, referral agreements, contractor and consulting agreements, NDAs, order forms, amendments, and vendor agreements.
  • Own contract intake across Growth, Marketing, PR, Recruiting, Finance, and B2B; route, prioritize, track, and advance requests through completion.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs independently within approved playbooks and fallback positions.
  • Prepare initial drafts and markups of commercial agreements using templates and playbooks, escalating exceptions to Legal with clear recommendations.
  • Complete final quality reviews and coordinate Legal, Finance, and executive approvals before signature.
  • Route approved agreements through Ironclad and DocuSign, ensuring executed contracts are accurately filed.
  • Manage contracting SLAs, identify delays early, and maintain visibility into outstanding matters.
  • Co-own Ironclad’s implementation and administration, including intake workflows, approval logic, templates, clause libraries, metadata, permissions, repository structure, and reporting.
  • Convert contracting playbooks into standardized clauses, approved fallback positions, escalation rules, and automated workflows.
  • Build and maintain self-service intake workflows and templates for B2B and non-B2B agreements.
  • Maintain permissions, record types, legacy agreements, and repository organization.
  • Troubleshoot workflow problems and work with workflow engineers when technical support is needed.
  • Develop reporting on contract volume, cycle times, SLAs, and process bottlenecks.
  • Support integrations and automation across Finance, Security, Slack, AI-assisted review, and other systems.
  • Onboard teams to Ironclad and develop documentation that supports adoption.
  • Manage matters from intake through execution, filing, and stakeholder communication.
  • Keep trackers accurate and provide concise, proactive status updates.
  • Identify and address gaps in templates, workflows, and contracting processes.
  • Improve contracting operations continuously through workflows, automation, reporting, and AI tools.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or commercial operations.
  • Extensive hands-on Ironclad experience building and launching workflows, templates, approvals, permissions, playbooks, and reporting is required.
  • Experience scaling or improving a contract lifecycle management system, including legacy migrations, record consolidation, and workflow rollouts.
  • Ability to negotiate NDAs independently and prepare first-pass commercial agreement markups using established playbooks.
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial agreements and end-to-end contracting processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through in a high-volume environment.
  • Sound judgment when applying playbooks, meeting SLAs, and determining when to escalate matters to Legal.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Legal, Finance, Growth, Recruiting, PR, and leadership.
  • Familiarity with automation and AI tools such as n8n and Claude.
  • Availability during agreed working hours with sufficient overlap with the relevant team’s time zone.
