Clinical Trial Payments Manager - Prague Hybrid

Lead regional clinical trial payment operations for Johnson & Johnson in a hybrid Prague role. Oversee CCS processes, payment reconciliation, systems, training, and global team development.

Description

  • Lead the local regional Contract & Centralized Services (CCS) site
  • Support the Clinical Trial Management System (mCTMS) and resolve payment system issues through Global Shared Services
  • Oversee regional efficiency payments and non-site-facing study payment reconciliation
  • Train new CCS Payments Coordinators and CCS team members on processes and technology
  • Train study teams on payment support, processes, and issue resolution
  • Coordinate across CCS colleagues, Site Contract Managers, Local Trial Managers, Global Trial Managers, and study teams
  • Manage end-to-end investigator and site payment processes, including calculations
  • Maintain CTMS visit templates, suppliers, purchase orders, payments, and clinical trial payment records
  • Own CCS payment processes and lead continuous improvement
  • Resolve regional failed payments and Purchase Requisitions in coordination with regional counterparts
  • Manage team performance and development in a global virtual environment
  • Recruit and develop talent to strengthen team effectiveness
  • Deliver customer-focused solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Seven to ten years of experience, or equivalent competencies, in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical research
  • Four years of payment experience
  • Working knowledge of clinical payment processing
  • Ability to work effectively across functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Innovative mindset and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to complete substantial work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to reason abstractly, conceptually, and practically
  • Ability to operate locally and globally while engaging with different organizational levels
  • Strong team-building, collaboration, communication, and knowledge-sharing skills in virtual global environments
  • Strong proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of SharePoint
  • Intermediate presentation skills
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance and relevant guidance, including HIPAA, FCPA, and Safe Harbor, preferred
  • Previous experience working in virtual teams preferred; additional language skills are a bonus.
