Chief of Staff, Trust & Infrastructure Engineering — Colorado Remote
Salesforce seeks a Chief of Staff to support Trust & Infrastructure engineering leadership across Finance, HR, and related teams. The role oversees operating cadence, workforce planning, communications, budgeting, and organizational execution.
Description
- Own the operating rhythm through staff meetings, quarterly planning, all-hands meetings, and leadership events such as EM/IC Summits
- Track commitments, prepare agendas, and partner with Finance on budgets and workforce planning
- Convert Trust & Infrastructure roadmap priorities into organization-wide plans, resource decisions, and leadership visibility
- Manage headcount tracking, position approvals, backfills, sign-on bonuses, and location strategy
- Work with Recruiting and HR to remove hiring obstacles and support hiring managers
- Lead quarterly and annual planning, variance analysis, RLOAs, and organization-level metrics reporting
- Improve operational efficiency through process enhancements and AI-enabled productivity tools
- Oversee engineering communications, announcement channels, promotions, and all-hands messaging
- Support culture programs, intern initiatives, and the Engineering Blog
- Coordinate engineering leadership, Finance, HR, and cross-functional partners to create clarity and execution discipline
- Act as an operational liaison for Trust & Infrastructure teams
Requirements
- At least 14 years of experience in business operations, strategy, finance, or a related discipline, preferably within high-growth technology
- Demonstrated ability to advise and partner with senior technical leaders
- Experience supporting Trust, Infrastructure, or Platform organizations is advantageous
- Strong financial expertise spanning budgets, headcount planning, and variance analysis
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions
- Bachelor’s degree required
- MBA or another advanced degree preferred
- Experience in Engineering Business Operations or as a Chief of Staff is advantageous
- Working familiarity with Salesforce, Workday, Tableau, and AI productivity tools
