Description

  • Direct financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis
  • Advise leadership on growth priorities, pricing, investments, and expansion initiatives
  • Improve visibility into margins, unit economics, customer profitability, and investment returns
  • Turn financial analysis into practical recommendations for commercial and operational leaders
  • Own cash flow, treasury, working capital, and liquidity management
  • Coordinate collections, supplier payments, and financing requirements to sustain growth
  • Manage relationships with banks, lenders, and other financial partners
  • Shape the capital structure and lead debt and equity financing activities when needed
  • Direct financial due diligence, financing negotiations, and reporting for lenders and investors
  • Oversee accounting, financial reporting, tax, audits, and internal controls
  • Deliver accurate financial statements and dependable management reporting on schedule
  • Create scalable processes for billing, collections, payments, and financial systems
  • Enhance controls for credit exposure, counterparty risk, and energy-related financial commitments
  • Work with legal and regulatory teams on financial obligations in the energy sector
  • Prepare board materials and explain performance, risks, and strategic trade-offs
  • Maintain investor relationships and strengthen fundraising readiness
  • Apply financial rigor and constructive challenge to significant business decisions
  • Recruit and develop a finance team equipped for greater scale and complexity
  • Set clear ownership, accountability, and performance standards
  • Advance automation, data quality, and collaboration across finance, technology, commercial, and operations teams

Requirements

  • Senior experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or finance leader with substantial responsibility for strategy and operations
  • Demonstrated success building or strengthening finance functions in growing organizations
  • Strong technical expertise in accounting, FP&A, treasury, working capital, and financial controls
  • Hands-on experience with capital raises, financing arrangements, and banking or investor relationships
  • Sound commercial judgment with the ability to connect financial choices to business results
  • Background managing complex cash cycles, credit exposure, or financially demanding operating models
  • Comfort operating entrepreneurially across strategic priorities and detailed execution
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentations to boards, investors, and senior stakeholders
  • Professional fluency in Spanish and English
  • Experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure, energy trading, or another regulated industry is valuable; candidates from technology or adjacent sectors with deep financial expertise and relevant operating experience are encouraged to apply
