Category Manager - Massachusetts Remote

Lead partner marketplace categories beyond Amazon, overseeing new product launches, forecasts, performance metrics, and cross-functional execution for Cimpress’s mass-customization businesses.

Description

  • Own category management for partner channels beyond Amazon
  • Oversee product launch pipelines, category forecasts, and performance
  • Work with Operations to validate SKU specifications, production feasibility, and fulfillment needs for new products
  • Scale the Jira-based NPI workflow from pilot to an established operating process
  • Develop and maintain volume, revenue, and margin forecasts by category
  • Expand forecasting to weekly detail and monitor actual performance against projections
  • Support product lifecycle management, including independently managing PLM when the Senior Category Manager is unavailable
  • Coordinate execution across Channel, Operations, Product Owners, Production, and Fulfillment
  • Establish and monitor category KPIs while identifying risks early
  • Present category performance, forecasts, and risks to senior management as responsibilities expand
  • Contribute to category strategy and Amazon execution with the Senior Category Manager

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in category management, ecommerce, or a related commercial field
  • Background managing a product portfolio and/or product launch pipeline
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-changing, evolving environment
  • Structured, data-oriented approach with sound judgment for early risk identification and proactive performance management
  • Proficiency with AI tools and LLMs for market research, competitive analysis, category reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Familiarity with Amazon AI-powered seller tools such as Brand Analytics, Search Query Performance, and Assortment Opportunity Explorer is a plus
  • Experience coordinating across Operations, Fulfillment, Finance, Merchandising, Creative, Advertising, Pricing, Product, and Analytics teams
  • Fluent English required
  • German, French, Italian, or Spanish language skills are advantageous
