Description

  • Architect, develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance Python applications on Google Cloud Platform
  • Create, test, deploy, and support resilient Python applications with Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, and Compute Engine
  • Build scalable microservices and event-driven systems with Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, and Eventarc
  • Develop and maintain FastAPI REST APIs and gRPC services with authentication, versioning, and performance optimization
  • Produce modular, maintainable Python code that follows PEP 8 and static typing practices
  • Contribute to technical design sessions, sprint planning, code reviews, and architecture discussions
  • Create and maintain Terraform infrastructure as code
  • Configure and support CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, Cloud Deploy, and GitHub Actions
  • Set up monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting through Google Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Trace
  • Support enterprise data platforms including BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Firestore, Cloud Spanner, and Cloud Storage
  • Apply secure cloud architecture practices using IAM, workload identity federation, and least-privilege access controls
  • Use Claude Code and other AI coding assistants for development, refactoring, testing, and documentation
  • Design prompts and workflows that generate reliable, scalable, production-ready code
  • Evaluate AI-generated code for quality, maintainability, and security
  • Create automated testing frameworks, OpenAPI documentation, and developer resources with AI-assisted tools
  • Help establish AI-enabled software development lifecycle practices
  • Perform application security assessments with Bandit, Semgrep, Snyk, and SonarQube
  • Apply OWASP-aligned secure coding, input validation, and secure API development practices
  • Manage secrets and credentials with Google Secret Manager and Cloud KMS
  • Maintain compliance with enterprise security and regulatory standards, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA when required

Requirements

  • Professional fluency in both English and Spanish, including speaking, reading, and writing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Three to five years of professional software development experience building enterprise applications
  • Strong command of Python 3.10+ and FastAPI
  • Experience with asynchronous programming, object-oriented design, and API development
  • Experience designing and deploying containerized applications in Google Cloud environments
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Firestore, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage
  • Experience building infrastructure as code with Terraform
  • Experience creating automated test frameworks with pytest, unittest, or comparable tools
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor
  • Preferred: Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Developer certification
  • Preferred: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification
  • Preferred: Experience integrating Workday, Salesforce, Deltek Vantagepoint, or Ironclad
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Vertex AI, Document AI, Gemini APIs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other AI/ML development frameworks
  • Preferred: Experience with container security, Binary Authorization, Kubernetes security controls, and runtime monitoring solutions
  • Preferred: Contributions to open-source projects, Python packages, or cloud-native development tools
  • Preferred: Strong knowledge of secure software development and application security principles
