Actuarial Analyst I, Medicaid Pricing

Support Medicaid pricing at Elevance Health by analyzing rate impacts, projections, and actuarial models. Validate data used to inform healthcare pricing decisions.

Description

  • Help determine rates
  • Analyze, develop, and validate statistical data
  • Assist the Medicaid Pricing lead with rate impact development
  • Contribute to projections and other actuarial analyses
  • Use appropriate actuarial tools to analyze data
  • Conduct preliminary actuarial and statistical analyses
  • Maintain actuarial pricing, valuation, and forecasting models
  • Gather and refine data for actuarial analysis
  • Coordinate across the division to check data accuracy and reasonableness

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
  • At least one Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) exam passed
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of a posting location, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law
