Senior Data Engineer – AWS AI/ML (Remote, United States)
Build and operate AWS data platforms, observability systems, and AI/ML infrastructure for production enterprise solutions. Work with AWS Professional Services and client teams to deliver reliable, scalable systems and enable agent-based applications.

- Design, deploy, and optimize AWS data and AI/ML systems, including data lakes, observability, reliability, and cost controls
- Operate production platforms by monitoring drift, resolving issues, and improving scalability and dependability
- Apply AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Cursor to improve delivery quality
- Collaborate with AWS Professional Services, client engineering teams, and data specialists
- Explain technical behavior, tradeoffs, and constraints clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to peer reviews and technical design sessions
- Help shape data and AI architecture decisions
- Lead substantial work from inception through delivery while mentoring junior engineers
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least five years of professional software or data engineering experience, including two or more years building production data platforms or AI/ML systems on AWS
- Strong software engineering skills in Python and SQL or comparable languages
- AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate certification, or a clear near-term plan to obtain it
- Practical experience creating AWS data lakes with S3, Lake Formation, Glue, Athena, and Iceberg or Parquet
- Familiarity with streaming technologies such as Kinesis or MSK
- Experience observing distributed and AI systems using tools including CloudWatch, X-Ray, OpenTelemetry or ADOT, Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus, Grafana, and SageMaker Model Monitor
- Working knowledge of AWS agent-enablement services and patterns, including Bedrock Knowledge Bases, Guardrails, RAG, and Bedrock Agents
- Track record of deploying agentic or machine learning systems to production
- Experience with MLOps and LLMOps, including model and agent evaluation, deployment, and monitoring
- Experience using AWS CDK for infrastructure as code and implementing CI/CD for data and AI systems
- Understanding of IAM, KMS, data governance, responsible AI, and personally identifiable information handling
- Experience optimizing costs across storage, queries, compute, and model usage
- Experience delivering consulting or professional services solutions with client and partner teams
- Daily hands-on use and working knowledge of AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor
- Strong problem-solving ability and sound judgment when handling ambiguous technical challenges
