- At least 15 years of experience in communications, executive communications, marketing operations, or a related professional field
- At least 10 years of experience developing internal and/or external communications
- Advanced writing and presentation proficiency using PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications
- Proven experience leading and developing a communications team
- Experience advising senior executives, including direct partnership with the C-suite
- Advanced experience providing strategic communications counsel
- Experience acting as a company spokesperson and managing media relationships
- Thorough knowledge of media dynamics, crisis response procedures, and brand and reputation positioning
- Ability to perform under pressure, navigate ambiguity, and resolve problems creatively, clearly, and promptly
- Outstanding strategic thinking skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives through influence and diplomacy
