Senior Bookkeeper for US Clients — Philippines Remote
Senior Bookkeeper responsible for maintaining accurate books for US clients through Visory’s AI-supported financial back-office service. Reviews AI-assisted work, handles complex accounting matters, and leads client bookkeeping quality.

- Own bookkeeping quality, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness across a portfolio of US clients
- Review AI-assisted bookkeeping output and resolve complex or ambiguous cases
- Handle accounts payable, transaction coding, bank and credit card reconciliations, accounts receivable, month-end close, sales tax tracking and filings, 1099 preparation, and fixed-asset records
- Document errors, corrections, and process changes in a structured format to improve AI agents
- Spot recurring issues across client accounts and escalate them to the Manager and product team
- Partner with the product team to test enhancements and establish quality standards
- Recommend and implement improvements to QuickBooks Online, Xero, system settings, and client information workflows
- Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day bookkeeping questions from US business owners and finance leaders
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least seven years of practical bookkeeping experience
- At least three years of direct experience supporting US clients
- Experience with multi-currency accounting, inventory and COGS, and complex reconciliations
- Strong grounding in US GAAP fundamentals, cash and accrual accounting, multi-state sales tax, 1099 reporting, payroll journals, and month-end close
- Advanced QuickBooks Online expertise with QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification or an equivalent credential
- Working knowledge of Xero and Dext
- Experience integrating Shopify, Gusto, Bill.com, Stripe, and other payment gateways
- Availability for working hours that overlap with the US business day
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Comfort leading conversations with US business owners
- Willingness to work alongside an AI agent, review its output, and provide clear feedback
- Clear written communication, particularly in online and platform-based interactions
- Ability to explain accounting concepts to non-finance business owners
- Confidence making and explaining decisions on ambiguous accounting matters
- Personal accountability for each client file
- Sound judgment about when to escalate an issue or seek a second opinion
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work
